Missions
At Reborn we believe that the local church should be involved in reaching people for the Kingdom of God. Not just around us in our community, but throughout the world.
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Some people are called to go, some to pray and others to send. As a local church, we will be involved in all 3 aspects of missions. We will commit to pray for missionaries, we will financially support those who are going, and we will have those that go from here to places near and far to spread the Gospel.
Here are the missionaries that we currently support:
Patrick & Alli Sudbrink
Patrick and Alli have been married since June 2020, and since then have been seeking God's direction on how to pursue their calling in missions ministry. Alli has been serving in missions since she felt called in 2014, and she has a heart to make disciples through connecting with others one-on-one. Patrick has been working as the Web Developer for Go To Nations and has felt God giving him a passion to teach others about the Great Commission.
Currently, Patrick and Alli are in Jacksonville, Florida serving in their home church. Alli has been serving refugees in the area through citizenship and English classes, giving opportunities to share the gospel. Patrick has been receiving discipleship from spiritual leaders, equipping him for teaching and training others. They have completed the first step of their Equipping Track and the 10-week Timothy Internship. They are now preparing to go on a 2-year apprenticeship in the Philippines with hands-on training from veteran missionaries.
Patrick and Alli have a vision and passion to share the love of Jesus with others, to make disciples who make disciples, and to mobilize others to go out and be a part of completing the Great Commission.
If you would like to support Patrick and Alli, you can donate through their Go To Nations page here.
Nathan & Marcella
Nathan and Marcella, along with their toddler daughter, are a missionary family serving refugees in the Mediterranean. Their vision is to bring the gospel to people of all backgrounds, and to see the transforming power of Jesus at work in their lives. They have a heart to see the body of Christ grow in intimacy with the Lord, and to see people healed and set free from bondages and condemnation.
To fulfill their mission, Nathan and Marcella equip others through discipleship and respond to the great commission by sharing the gospel cross-culturally among people who have limited understanding of the Bible, with a passion of sharing with those who have never met a Christian personally. They minister through relational evangelism and mercy ministries, bringing hope and practical help to refugees in the Mediterranean. The Carpenters are dedicated to serving God and bringing His message and love to every person they meet.
They currently reside in Sicily, Italy and reach refugees for Jesus.
Missionary in a Closed Country
We support a missionary couple in the Southeast Asia area.
Where they currently minister is not safe for Christians, so we are not giving their identity online.
If you would like more information on this missionary couple, or would like to persoanlly support them, please contact us and we would be happy to talk with you.
